Since high school, I have found that living an active lifestyle is one of the most rewarding things in life, though I wasn’t always perfect in living that out. I played varsity tennis throughout high school, was a tennis instructor at a local country club during college, and was a casual runner. It wasn’t until about a few years ago that I seriously started running and working out. I still struggled at times with following through on my goals (like many people!), but when I started taking fitness seriously I experienced a lot of progress and results that have helped me run several half-marathons and marathons. It was so rewarding to accomplish my goals that I wanted to become an instructor and help others see for themselves that they too can set fitness goals and meet them. Currently, I am certified in Insanity and am working on becoming a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM.
