"Wow, I really regret that workout!" -Said no one ever

Growing up, health and fitness were always a priority in my family. I took my first dance class when I was 5 and practically lived at the dance studio until I was a teenager. In high school, I fell in love with group sports and took a short break from dance to join the volleyball team. Ever since then I’ve always played sports and taken (or taught) dance classes as an adult to stay healthy and have fun doing it. In 2015, after 5 years of taking Zumba classes, I decided to get my license to be a Zumba instructor so I could help people reach their fitness goals while having the support of a community behind them just like my instructors had done for me. Any kind of dance fitness classes are my favorite but the challenge of learning Latin rhythms and the camaraderie that comes with a Zumba family were what ultimately drew me in.
